What we need from your venue

• —A private dressing room is required. A restroom does not meet this requirement. Space needed is roughly equal to the tabletop of a picnic table per performer.
• —The dressing room must be on the same floor as the performance area and within a one minute walk of it.
• —Meals for performers are required.
• —Hula Carolina provides its own sound equipment for the performance, but does not provide audio or microphone assistance for speeches or announcements before, during, or after the show.
• —Lighting is not included.
• —One electrical source is required, placed at the center of the performance area and available three hours prior to the start time.
• —Unless otherwise instructed, Hawaiian background music will be playing before the performance and continuing through the show until fifteen minutes after it concludes.

Lei Greetings

Leis must be provided, unboxed, and ready to hand out before the performance start time. Hula Carolina does not provide or prepare leis.

Scheduling

The show must start within one hour of the lei greeting, regardless of any prior delays. The performance will still conclude at the contracted end time, regardless of the actual start time. No interruptions during the performance for any reason, including but not limited to awards, speeches, or recognitions.

Photos

Photo ops are welcome during the lei greeting, but not after the performance concludes.

After the Show

Hula Carolina will break down equipment and depart immediately following the performance. If required to remain on-site longer before breakdown, this must be arranged in advance and will incur an additional charge.
